It is a raw material for the production of compounding fertilizer. Plant fed with magnesium compounding fertilizer will grow 15-50% quicker than that fed with compounding fertilizer without magnesium. It can be used to prepare medicines such as cathartic, magnesium trisilicate and acetyl spiramycin etc. In food industry, it can be used for lactic acid and monosodium glutamate etc. Also for dyestuff, weight solvent, and magnesium stain. In addition, it is used for sewage treatment through precipitation.
